Qatar, Ethiopia agree to restore diplomaticties

London, March 21 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani met on 23 February 2012 the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Meles Zenawi on the sidelines of the London conference on Somalia. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and means to promote and develop relations between the two countries, in addition to issues of common concern. 
At the end of the meeting, HE Qatar's Prime Minister and his Ethiopian counterpart agreed to restore diplomatic ties between Qatar and Ethiopia and to open an Ethiopian embassy in Doha and a Qatari embassy in Addis Ababa.
HE the Premier accepted the invitation to visit Ethiopia in a time to be agreed upon between the two countries.      (QNA)
